We have partnered with an elite, long-standing company out of Stamford CT who are looking to bring on an additional Estimator to handle increased business.
With over 75 years in the business, our client is an expert in all forms of Commercial and Residential roofing projects, handling everything from small repairs on single-family homes to schools, churches, and historic properties to large commercial projects.
The Estimator needs to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the roofing or construction-related world and the ability to provide detailed estimates and bids for complex projects across Fairfield County as well as New Haven, Hartford, and Westchester counties.
This person in this position will be meeting with customers, getting on roofs, attending bid meetings and be the main contact on all projects.
Primary Responsibilities for the Estimator include:
- Reviewing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for construction projects
- Overseeing bid preparation and submission
- Developing and maintaining a cost database and estimating software
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and owners to clarify project scope and resolve discrepancies
- Preparing cost reports and estimate summary metrics
Position will be based in-office in Downtown Stamford with about 30% travel to projects and bid meetings.
Compensation of $110-130K (more for an exceptional Estimator) with an excellent benefits package.
