$140,000 – $150,000 Base + Bonus
 

Overview

A growing, technology-driven organization is seeking a Head of Sales to lead and scale its commercial function. This company operates across highly innovative sectors including medical, cancer research, aerospace, and advanced technologies.

This role will oversee a team of 7 sales professionals and drive revenue growth across national and international markets. Ideal for a leader who can balance strategy with hands-on execution in a technical sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7 sales professionals
  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion across U.S. and global markets
  • Own and execute the sales strategy, aligned with company objectives
  • Manage and grow key accounts within medical, aerospace, and technical industries
  • Establish strong pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI tracking
  • Utilize Salesforce and QuoteWerks for CRM, quoting, and reporting
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams on complex, solution-based sales cycles
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand into high-growth markets

Qualifications

  • 8–15+ years of experience in technical, industrial, medical, or aerospace sales
  • Proven leadership experience managing sales teams (5–10+ reps)
  • Track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals
  • Experience in regulated or highly technical industries
  • Strong experience with Salesforce (required)
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on

Preferred

  • Background in medical devices, radiation technology, aerospace, or precision manufacturing
  • Experience with international sales or global customers/suppliers
  • Experience working with engineers in solution-based sales environments
