Hours are 8 to 4:30

This role will be responsible for supporting payroll processes timely and accurately, while assisting with some human resources administrative tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Assist with onboarding processes.
  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Verify timecards, wage increases and ensure these are entered timely.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, deductions and benefits contributions.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and databases in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes and respond to benefit questions.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, and training logistics.
  • Help prepare reports, memos, and presentations related to HR activities. 
  • Complete verification of employment requests in writing or over the phone as needed. 
  • Assist with external audits as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, human resources or payroll role.
  • Experience with E-Verify highly desirable.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
