Summary
A growing aerospace metal finisher in Bristol is seeking a Tooling Operator. The ideal candidate must be a very dedicated and reliable operator who will successfully complete the chemical processes on tools. This position remains in compliance with the requirements of the DOT guidelines, which subjects the candidate to random drug and alcohol screenings.
Pay and Schedule
$21/hr, with $1/hr increase after 5 week training completion
Monday thru Friday, 10am – 6pm, with alternating weekend coverage.
Saturday and Sundays 3:30am – 5pm, Sunday paid as double time.
Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year experience operating a 16ft and/or 22ft box truck
• Must have a current driver’s license that is in good standing
• Must be comfortable making daily deliveries
• Must be flexible to working variable hours, including specific holidays and weekend rotations
• Must be reliable
• Must have the ability to lift up to 40lbs on a frequent basis
• Manufacturing/Industrial experience preferred but not required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Strip and clean parts, including but not limited to acid baths and grit blasting, according to specific instructions of
the client.
• Pack and transport finished product to clients including but not limited to early morning and/or afternoon.
• Pick up parts for service based on request(s) of the client.
• Complete tank pump outs daily
• Refill tanks as needed
• Monitor condition of all equipment and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Complete work order and related paper work thoroughly.
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance to specifications on work orders.
• Maintain paperwork and log books.
• Must comply with safety committee and EHS requirements.
• Must follow all safety procedures when working with materials on a daily basis, including but not limited to:
wearing the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Understand and conform to MFT/Customer/QC standards.
• Provide safe working environment by properly handling chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned
