Cardiology practice hiring for medical assistant.
Contract to hire (600 probatonary hours to perm hire)
Hours: M-F 8a-5p no weekends most holidays off
Must have EKG experience!
Job Responsibilities:
- Measure Vital Signs
- Greet and Room Patients
- Preparing rooms for patients to be seen
- Answering phones and screening patients
- Reviewing Medication Records
- Updating patient information EMR (Athena)
- Maintaining supplies and equipment
- Sterilizing Instruments
Requirements:
- EKG experience
- At least 1 recent year as a medical assistant
- Medical assistant certification, associate’s degree, registration or diploma
- Athena experience a plus but any EMR is fine
