Women’s Health Advanced Practice Provider (CNM, WHNP, NP, or PA)

Location: Connecticut
Salary: $116,000–$126,000+ (commensurate with experience)

A well-established health organization is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Advanced Practice Provider to join its growing OB/GYN team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient women’s healthcare in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive gynecologic care, including annual exams and contraceptive management

• Evaluate and treat common gynecologic conditions

• Deliver prenatal and postpartum care

• Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice

• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, prescribe medications, and coordinate referrals

• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive health

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members

• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant program

• Active or eligible Connecticut NP, PA, or CNM license

• National certification required

• Minimum of 1 year of Women’s Health APP experience (no new graduates)

• OB/GYN clinical training required

• Experience providing outpatient women’s health, gynecologic, and prenatal care preferred
