Front Desk Associate
Freehold, NJ
Hours:
- 40 hours per week | 8-hour shifts
- Practice Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00a – 7:00p, Friday 7:00a – 5:00p
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out processes, and monitor office flow to minimize wait times, keeping patients informed of scheduling delays
- Verbally verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and photo ID annually within the EMR; ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, federal guidelines, and meaningful use standards
- Prepare medical charts ahead of appointments, process fax inboxes, route documents, scan medical records (image discs, labs, authorizations), and handle incoming interoffice calls and emails
- Distribute required hard-copy intake paperwork and assist patients with electronic consent forms and medical history questionnaires via the EMR kiosk.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; process payments for third-party vendors and orthotics, and maintain accurate daily payment logs for deposit balancing
- Schedule follow-up appointments and procedures based on provider availability, verify prescription pharmacy routing, notify relevant parties regarding required authorizations, and provide checkout instructions
Qualifications:
- Medial front desk experience (1+ year)
- EMR experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
- $18-21/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
