Medical Assistant ($24/hr) – Arlington, VA

Medical Assistant – Primary Care 

Type: temp to potential hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Requirements: 

• Minimum of two years of direct experience or equivalent education
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR systems)
• Proficient in vital signs assessment
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities: 

• Patient rooming and assistance
• Conducting vital sign checks
• Recording initial patient reasons for visit
• Performing EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy
• Retrieving, recording, and organizing patient telephone messages for providers
• Supply management and stocking of exam rooms
• Experience with electronic medical records
