Blasting Operator
Location: Bristol, CT
Hours: M-F 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm

Job Description:
•             Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal and composite parts
•             Remove rust, paint, scale, and other surface contaminants
•             Select and use appropriate abrasive media for required finishes
•             Inspect, clean, and maintain blasting equipment and components
•             Read and follow work orders and production instructions accurately
•             Identify, handle, and prepare parts for downstream processes (painting, anodizing, etc.)
•             Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
•             Support production needs and perform other assigned duties

Job Requirements:
•             High school diploma or equivalent
•             1+ year of related experience or equivalent education/training
•             Ability to read, write, and communicate in English per FAA requirements
•             Familiarity with metal and composite materials used in manufacturing
•             Understanding of surface preparation and stripping processes
•             Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•             Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay Rate:
• $20-24/ hour depending on experience
