Senior Quality Inspector

1st Shift or 2nd Shift Available (15% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift)

A well-established precision aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join its growing quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspector with strong aerospace inspection experience who enjoys working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment supporting critical flight components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision aerospace components.
  • Verify product conformance using engineering drawings, blueprints, process sheets, and customer specifications.
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections utilizing precision measuring equipment.
  • Review certifications and manufacturing documentation for compliance.
  • Support resolution of quality concerns with production, engineering, and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of aerospace quality inspection experience.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and working with PPAP documentation.
  • Familiarity with aerospace OEM requirements and supplier quality expectations.
  • Experience using precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other dimensional measurement tools.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, digital inspection equipment, and inspection software.
  • Understanding of ITAR, DFARS, and export compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting critical aerospace components and regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

  • $28-$35/hour (based on experience)
