Clinic hiring for medical assistant.
Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 8a/8:30a- 5pm, Friday 8a/8:30a- 3:30pm (4 days per week)
Type: contract to hire
Clinical Support

Prepare patients for examination, obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

Assist physicians and clinical staff during examinations, procedures, and minor in-office surgical treatments

Perform clinical tasks within the CMA scope of practice, such as wound care assistance, dressing changes, application of splints/casts/boots, and durable medical equipment fitting as directed

Prepare and maintain exam and procedure rooms, ensuring cleanliness, stocking, and readiness between patients

Sterilize and prepare instruments and maintain compliance with infection-control and OSHA standards
Qualifications

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an accredited program (e.g., AAMA, or equivalent) Preferred

Prior experience as a Medical Assistant- 1 year required

Demonstrated experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is required; experience with EPIC is a plus
