Accounts Receivable – $27/hour (Manufacturing enviroment)

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to provide temporary coverage for two employees who will be out on leave. This is an immediate opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong AR experience who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment.

Accounts Receivable Associate (Temporary – 8–12 Week Assignment)
Location: Wallingford, CT
Pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
Duration: 8–12 Weeks (Leave of Absence Coverage)

Responsibilities

• Distribute invoices and credit memos daily via email and customer portals.
• Process monthly customer statements.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, credit memos, and billing questions.
• Maintain customer billing instructions and account information.
• Verify new customer accounts by phone.
• Contact customers regarding past-due balances through phone and email.
• Assist with customer account maintenance, including electronic file creation, credit line management, and aged receivable reporting.
• Process credit card payments through customer portals and maintain e-wallet information.
• Provide backup support for daily cash receipts processing as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working in a government-regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and take initiative.
• Must have reliable transportation and live within approximately 30 minutes of Wallingford, CT.
