Benefits Administrator (Temporary Assignment)
Assignment Length: 6–8 weeks (Temporary Leave Coverage)
Start Date: After August 10
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36.00per hour

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to provide temporary coverage during an employee leave of absence. This is a 6–8 week assignment with an anticipated start date after August 10. We are looking to begin interviewing qualified candidates as soon as possible to ensure a seamless transition and avoid any interruption in benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee leave of absence programs in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage leave requests and coordinate return-to-work processes.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, payroll, benefits vendors, and third-party leave administrators.
  • Perform benefits reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of benefits-related records.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable leave laws.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation, reporting, and correspondence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to employee questions regarding leave and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering employee leave programs and benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of federal leave laws, including:
    • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
    • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
    • Other applicable federal leave regulations
  • Working knowledge of state leave laws in:
    • Massachusetts
    • Connecticut
    • Illinois
    • Maine
  • Experience working with a third-party leave administrator, preferably New York Life.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

…Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
