This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading AM 100 law firm as a Manager, Applications Development & Engineering. The position may be based in Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington, D.C., with the flexibility to work fully remotely while residing within reasonable commuting distance of a firm office.
The Manager will lead development teams responsible for delivering strategic legal applications while overseeing development and delivery processes. The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented leader who can introduce innovative solutions and bring strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal capabilities to the role.

On a typical day you will:
- Oversee multiple development teams, ensuring ROI-aligned delivery.
- Define KPIs, budgets, and SLAs for application portfolio.
- Implement and maintain DevOps, CI/CD, and quality frameworks.
- Mentor and hire top engineering talent.
- Liaise between IT and business to align technical strategy.

- 10+ years in software delivery
- 3+ years in managerial roles
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or technical master’s a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in: computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related technical/STEM field
- Deep understanding of DevOps, Agile, cloud architecture.
- Experience in technology budgeting and portfolio management.
- Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills.
