Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner, Medical Dermatology

*Must have 1-2 years dermatology experience as an NP or PA (NO new grads)

An established dermatology practice is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is a full-time, medical dermatology role (no cosmetics) with an immediate start. The practice is well-established with a long operating history and a supportive clinical team.

Position: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, medical dermatology only (no cosmetics)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-Call: Possible but very minimal
Patient Volume: 30 to 35 patients per day
Start: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat a wide range of skin conditions and perform medical dermatological procedures
• Diagnose and manage medical dermatology conditions and develop treatment plans in line with current medical guidelines
• Manage acute and chronic skin conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Maintain the standards of professional practice

Qualifications:

• PA or NP degree from an accredited program
• Two years minimum of clinical dermatology experience required
• Expertise in diagnosing and managing medical dermatology conditions with strong knowledge of current medical guidelines
• Professional, compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with the ability to establish patient rapport
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Works collaboratively and respectfully
