Hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant in Wellesley, MA.
MUST have an active national Medical Assistant certificate.
3 month+ temporary leave coverage role!
Pay: $25-30/hr (based on years of experience)
Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5pm, with one day leaving at 6pm and one day leaving at 4pm
Responsibilities:
- Rooms students when they arrive for visits, checks vitals and obtains and documents accurate vital signs, height, weight, pain level and allergies.
- Ensure that pre-visit paperwork has been completed.
- Phlebotomy, EKG’s, Point of Care testing, telephone triage.
- Gives immunizations.
- Maintains neat, clean and safe exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Patient care areas are clean, organized, and ready for patients.
- Alerts provider when the patient is ready to be seen and communicates all pertinent clinical information.
- Assist patients with check-out process.
- Cleans and prepares exam room for next patient.
Experience:
- High School graduate/GED
- Candidates require at least 1-2 years MA experience
- National MA certification required
- Solid injection/vaccine experience required
- BLS/CPR
- Epic experience preferred, but willing to train if need be
- Vitals, patient care, swabbing, injections
