Paralegal – General Liability ($31/hr)

Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Pay: $31/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys handling general liability and insurance defense litigation. This position will assist with case management, legal document preparation, research, document review, discovery, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate has previous paralegal or legal assistant experience within a litigation environment and is comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and other case materials
- Maintain and organize case files and litigation documentation
- Assist attorneys with discovery and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and document review
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, attorneys, and other parties
- Track case deadlines, court dates, and required filings
- Assist with gathering and organizing records and supporting documentation
- Provide ongoing administrative and litigation support to attorneys
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
Qualifications
- Previous Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience required
- Insurance defense, general liability, or civil litigation experience strongly preferred
- Strong legal document preparation and document review skills
- Experience supporting discovery and litigation processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple cases, assignments, and deadlines
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to work onsite in Orlando, FL
