Fortinet Network Engineer

40/hrs a week with remote flexibility
$80/hr + depending on experience

Responsibilities
• Configure and support FortiGate firewalls and Fortinet network equipment
• Assist with firewall installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Set up and troubleshoot VPNs, routing, VLANs, and firewall rules
• Resolve network and security issues
• Help with onsite deployments, testing, and cutovers
• Work with senior engineers and client IT teams
• Configure and test network devices
• Document network changes and configurations
• Provide ongoing support and knowledge transfer to clients

Requirements
• 2 to 5 years of network engineering experience
• Experience working with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls
• Ability to independently troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Experience supporting enterprise or multi-site network environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in Massachusetts
