Looking for a seasoned MA who already has Epic experience, can work in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task, is organized and reliable, dependable, flexible, upbeat personality, and motivated to support busy practice.
Pay: $25-28/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM, overtime offered
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Medical Assistant
- Experience in outpatient ambulatory clinic
- Wound care, suture/staple removal experience highly preferred
- BLS Certification required
- Experience using Epic EMR system is required
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, document patient medical history
- Measure and record vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy as needed
- Prepare patient for examination
- Assist with treatments, examinations, procedures
- Assist with wound care and suture/staple removals
- Assist providers with orthopedic procedures
- Maintain and prepare exam rooms
- Monitors prescription refill process
- Monitors room and provider flow
- Complete patient check-in and check-out
- Schedule patient appointments
- Handle and update patient records in Epic EMR system
