Key Responsibilities & Details
Pay: $27-30/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM
No on-call, any afterhours calls are handled by Maintenance Manager
Requirements:
- 2+ years of multifamily property management experience
- Must have: Affordable housing, project-based Section 8, LIHTC, voucher submission, tax-credit
- Nice to have: LIHTC Certification
- Software: RealPage, Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the property
- Collect rent and other property fees from the residents promptly
- Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently
- Partner with the maintenance team to preserve affordable housing through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and a highly organized make-ready process
- Work with the Regional Manager and corporate office to prepare and follow an operating budget, planning for community capital improvements, repairs, contract developments, and negotiations
- Handle all accounting functions associated with the property, including processing invoices, managing evictions, and overseeing resident accounts and charges
- Hire, train, and supervise site staff to ensure high performance
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards
- Complete income verification to ensure eligibility with government regulations
- Perform other duties as needed
