Property Manager
Type: Temp-to-perm
Location: Effingham, IL 62401
Pay: $28/hr
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM

Requirements: 

• 2+ years of multifamily property management experience
• Must have: Affordable housing, project-based Section 8, LIHTC, voucher submission, tax-credit
• Nice to have: LIHTC Certification
• Software: RealPage, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the property
• Collect rent and other property fees from the residents promptly
• Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently
• Partner with the maintenance team to preserve affordable housing through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and a highly organized make-ready process
• Work with the Regional Manager and corporate office to prepare and follow an operating budget, planning for community capital improvements, repairs, contract developments, and negotiations
• Handle all accounting functions associated with the property, including processing invoices, managing evictions, and overseeing resident accounts and charges
• Hire, train, and supervise site staff to ensure high performance
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards
• Complete income verification to ensure eligibility with government regulations

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
