Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Controller who can bring structure, accuracy, and practical financial leadership to a growing multi-entity organization. This person will help strengthen the close process, improve reporting, support job cost visibility, and work closely with both finance and operations so leaders have reliable information to make decisions.

What you would own

The monthly close and consolidation across multiple entities

Job cost integrity and margin analysis across all projects

Intercompany accounting across related entities

Financial reporting required by banking and surety partners

Internal controls, Sage Intacct administration, and the accounting side of BuildOps

What we are looking for

Seven or more years in accounting, with real ownership of a close in a multi-entity environment

Project-based accounting experience: construction, specialty contracting, industrial services, or manufacturing

Someone who can remain effective through system changes, shifting priorities, and evolving customer requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Sage Intacct experience is a real plus

What success looks like here

The Controller makes defensible accounting decisions, explains them clearly, and stands behind the close, the reconciliations, and the reporting deadlines. Because much of the detail starts outside the department, this individual will be expected to collaborate with project managers and operations to surface issues early and keep reporting useful.

 

The salary range for this position is $90,000–$120,000 per year.

Actual compensation within this range will be based on factors including experience, technical skills, education, certifications, and other job-related qualifications.
