Global Director of Accounting
Key Responsibilities & Details
Required qualifications and capabilities
• Degree in accounting, finance or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise; CPA or comparable professional accounting qualification strongly preferred.
• Substantial progressive accounting experience, including demonstrated global or regional accounting leadership with direct hands-on responsibility for month-end close, multi-entity consolidation, statutory reporting and audit delivery.
• Expertise of U.S. GAAP and working proficiency with IFRS including experience assessing and reconciling accounting differences.
• Direct experience with intercompany accounting and eliminations, foreign-currency translation, consolidated reporting and governance/control design.
• Building or rebuilding accounting processes, consolidation routines, financial controls or systems.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation tools; ability to adapt to multiple platforms.
• Private-equity-owned businesses and owner/investor reporting; carve-outs, divestitures, acquisitions or standalone finance build-outs.
