Hiring for a Medical Office Patient Care Coordinator in Dartmouth, MA.
Temporary role for about 6-8 weeks (could go longer!)
Hours: Monday – Friday — 8:30a – 4:30p
Pay $19/hr
3 key notes:
- Some Outbound (making outbound calls to bring warm lead type customers in for appointment) this isn’t waiting for the phone to ring type appointment scheduling like a doctor’s office but more proactive
- Technology – Computer savvy
- Personality – Eager to work – coachable and team player mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administration:
• Requires advanced administrative duties experience in a professional business office
• Ensure quality customer service, oversees the daily operation of services for the practice.
• Must be outgoing, personable and sociable for our patients.
• Schedule patient’s appointments either in person or over the phone.
• Call established patients for their yearly hearing evaluation.
• Respect patients by recognizing their rights; maintaining confidentiality.
• Knowledgeable in verifying patient’s insurance eligibility and benefits through all insurance carriers.
• Prepare and generate reports for the clinic and the home office
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows Navigation.
• Use a keyboard efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to multitask and then prioritize those tasks.
2. Office Upkeep:
• Maintain, with the HCP, the cleanliness of the office.
• Manage your front desk to be productive and efficient.
• Rework literature regularly so it stays fresh.
• Contribute to an environment that fosters team work.
• Professional dress and demeanor is required.
• Provide complimentary coffee to our patients.
• Have fun with our patients, make them feel at home.
