Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Pay $21- $23/hr

Hours 7am-3:30pm

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain shipping and receiving areas as needed.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

• Coordinate shipments and pickups with common carriers and delivery services.

• Communicate with customers and other parties as needed to clarify discrepancies, schedules, or shipment details.

• Inspect and document incoming and outgoing orders for quantities, damage, dates, and other relevant information.

• Immediately report irregularities, discrepancies, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

• Handle customer inventory carefully and responsibly to minimize the risk of loss or damage.

• Report to work on time, follow instructions, work effectively with others, follow established rules and procedures, and respond appropriately to constructive feedback.
