CFO/Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Manage general ledger accounting, month end close, balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Supervise the accounting team
• Oversee cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting, and monitoring using various financial software platforms
• Prepare detailed financial reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate transparency and accountability
• Prepare and analyze budgeting and forecasting
• Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded using double-entry bookkeeping principles

Skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance
• BS in Accounting, MBA, and CPA a plus
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel
• Expertise in general ledger management and month end close
• Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
• Professional services industry a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting financial information clearly
