On-call/Emergency Maintenance Tech

On-Call Maintenance Technician / Handyman – Berkshires

We are looking for an experienced handyman/maintenance professional to provide on-call and emergency maintenance support for 3 residential properties in the Berkshires.

This is a permanent, part-time/on-call position and would be a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent side work without committing to a full-time schedule.

Pay is $25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and general building repairs
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and make necessary repairs
• Provide coverage when the primary maintenance staff is unavailable
• Communicate professionally with residents and property management

Requirements:

• Strong handyman or property maintenance experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and handle a variety of basic repairs
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable responding to calls at night and during emergencies
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Must be comfortable with winter driving, snow, and traveling between properties

Ideal Location: Pittsfield or north of Pittsfield to provide reasonable access to all three properties
