Location: Waterbury, CT
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $28.61 – $35.00 per hour

Job summary
A growing eyelet manufacturer in Waterbury, CT, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience and can machine replacement parts, weld, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain production equipment, auxiliary machinery, and related systems.
• Disassemble equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, and complete repairs.
• Make pneumatic and hydraulic connections as needed.
• Assist with startup of new, modified, or repaired production equipment.
• Perform general repairs to building systems and auxiliary equipment, including air, gas, and water systems.
• Work with toolmakers to resolve equipment repair issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment required; experience in an eyelet manufacturing facility preferred.
• Machining experience, including the ability to fabricate parts using lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
• Welding ability.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
