Staff Nurse – Outpatient Primary Care (RN)
Looking for a primary care nursing role where you care for patients across every stage of life? An established outpatient practice in the New Britain, CT area is hiring a Registered Nurse to join one of its busiest primary care teams!

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- One later shift per week (10:00am-7:00pm)
- One Saturday per month (8:00am-4:00pm)
- Fully onsite (this is not a remote or hybrid role)
Compensation
- BSN: $73,000-$85,000 annually
- ASN: $69,000-$81,000 annually
- Based on experience and education
What You’ll Do
Deliver high-quality, comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient primary care setting:
- Support planned-care visits, including pre-visit planning and daily huddles
- Conduct nurse-led and nurse-assisted visits
- Patient and telephone health education on preventive, chronic, and episodic care
- Help patients set and monitor self-management goals
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider orders
- Wound care, catheterization, and other nursing activities as ordered
- Follow up on ER visits and hospital discharges
- Coordinate tests and specialty referrals
- Accurate, timely EHR documentation
What You Bring
- Active Connecticut RN license in good standing
- BSN or ASN
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR/AED or BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred, not required
- EHR experience a plus
