Dryer Operator

Location: Bristol, CT

Type: 3-month temp assignment (potential for temp-to-perm)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 2nd shift, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, with overtime opportunities as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Previous experience handling chemicals preferred.
• Anodizing experience a plus.
• Able to follow directions.
• Attentive to detail.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor equipment condition and recommend repairs or replacement as needed.
• Move parts between various locations.
• Complete work order tickets, daily line logs, and related paperwork.
• Read and carry out instructions on printed work orders.
• Select the proper drying technique (air, rack, spin, and/or bake).
• Make chemical adds and perform chemical maintenance, including changing filters, adding anodes, and cleaning horns and saddles.
• Bake work when required within customer requirements.
• Deliver finished product and report any issues to the Line Operator.

Pay Rate: $20/hr
