Staff Accountant
Key Responsibilities & Details
Post all required journal entries in Microsoft Great Plains and Epicor Prophet 21 (Multi-Entity)
Reconcile balance sheet accounts in Blackline (including multiple bank reconciliations)
Inform AR and AP staff when posting errors are made in applications of cash by the respective departments to correct them; part of bank recon procedures
Prepare monthly close deliverables in accordance with corporate timeline and review results with Controller
Partner with GM and operations to support timely closing and understanding of results
Prepare financial analysis for presentations on monthly results
Lead on all audit requests for the semi-annual audit
Lead all income tax requests for annual income tax preparation and filing
Prepare CAPEX information and related analysis monthly in accordance with corporate timeline
Support sales and fuel tax audit requests
Ad hoc requests from management as needed
Great Plains and/or Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP experience is a plus
